Patrick Davitt
F.I.P.A.V. Commissioner for Oaths
Pat Davitt founded Davitt & Davitt Auctioneers now known as Davitt Davitt & Partners trading as Sherry FitzGerald Davitt and Davitt Auctioneers in Castlepollard, Co Westmeath in 1980. Pat is currently CEO of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (IPAV) since 2013. The institute has upwards of 1,100 members throughout Ireland.
He was a member of the Auctioneers Revue Group (ARG) appointed by Mr. Michael McDowell T.D., Tánaiste and Minister of Justice, Equality & Law Reform in 2004/06. He is a current member of the Property Services Regulatory Board (PSRA) appointed by Mr. Alan Shatter T.D., Minister for Justice, Equality and Defence in 2012 and re-appointed by Mss. Frances Fitzgerald T.D. Minister for Justice and Equality in 2015. He is also a member of the (PSRA) Education committee.
Pat is a member of the (EVQB) the European Valuation Qualifications Board of (TEGoVA) The European Group of Valuers Associations and also a member of their Recognition Committee. Pat played a major role in taking the European “Blue Book” (EVS) European Valuation Standards, the “REV” Recognised European Valuer and the “TRV” TEGoVA Residential Valuer status to IPAV Valuers and Ireland and is a “REV” valuer himself. He represents IPAV on the amalgamated CEI-CEPI European grouping looking after the interests of Estate Agents throughout Europe. He was appointed an Arbitrator to the Private Residential Tenancies Board (PRTB) where he served from 2004–2008.
He is a past President of Mullingar Chamber of Commerce 2004-2006 and a founder member of Midland’s Gateway Chamber and a Commissioner for Oaths appointed by the Irish Supreme Court.

Aidan Davitt
Managing Director
Aidan studied Estate Agency & Auctioneering in Dun Laoghaire Senior College. He received his Certificate in 1995 and his I.P.A.V. Diploma in 1997. He also completed the I.P.A.V. Certificate in Fine and Decorative Arts. Initially Aidan worked with Ross McParland in Bray for six months, and then returned home to work in the Sherry FitzGerald Castlepollard office. In 2000 Aidan became a Director and Auctioneering Manager in Sherry FitzGerald Davitt & Davitt; overseeing 14 staff members. Aidan is hugely involved in his local community, and was elected Town & County Councillor in 2009.

Gary Corroon
Sales Manager & Branch Manager (Mullingar)
Gary has been with the company since 2000 and has been the Lead agent for the sale of new developments numerous times and is currently leading many of our current new developments as well as our second hand Residential sales. A keen sportsman he is currently involved in the Mullingar Shamrocks Football Club. Holder of a Diploma in Estate Agency & Auctioneering and a Diploma in Business Management. Also holds Certs in Computer Studies, Health & Fitness, Nutrition Studies and Circuit Training. Gary is a recipient of the Sherry FitzGerald WOW award, for 2014 for the Sherry FitzGerald Franchise countrywide for both ability to sell property and customer satisfaction.

Alan Bracken
M.I.P.A.V./ R.E.V.
Valuations/Commercial Sales and Lettings
Alan studied Estate Agency and Auctioneering at Athlone Institute of Technology. He went on to receive a Diploma and Membership to the Institute of Professional Auctioneers (IPAV). Alan has been a part of the Sherry FitzGerald Davitt & Davitt team since 2004 as a Residential and Commercial Valuer in the valuations department. He also deals with commercial and residential sales & lettings. As a native of Mullingar, Alan has an extensive local knowledge of Westmeath & surrounding areas.

Liam O'Reilly
Advertising, I.T., Compliance and Administration.
Liam has been with the company since 2006 and is employed by the company in the capacity of advertising but is also responsible for the maintenance of the websites, I.T. liaison for both offices and in-house advertising design. Literate in the use of computers, programs and computer hardware.

Aoife Gallagher
Aoife is responsible for the reception desk and dealing with customer calls and walk ins. Friendly and professional Aoife ensures that all customers are dealt with in a timely fashion and ensures all queries are dealt with.

James Murphy
Customer Care/Administrator
James is responsible for the daily administrative duties of the office and also helps customers with enquiries.

Jennifer Walsh
Sales Negotiator
Jennifer has been a part of the Sherry FitzGerald Davitt & Davitt team since 2008. Friendly while also being professional in all customer dealings, she is highly experienced with over 14 years in the property market. Jennifer has recently taken over the Sales for our Castlepollard office, which is now greatly benefiting from her vast experience in the handling of sales.

Elaine has been working with the company in the customer accounts function for the past number of years.
